Always the bridesmaid, never the bride. Probably a fitting saying for Loic Remy at Chelsea. After he arrived as back up option to Diego Costa, he saw more challenge for the starting position with the arrival of Radamel Falcao.

The player is clearly not happy with limited game time and have made only 13 appearances and is looking for a move away. It is reported by AMK, a Turkish newspaper cited by talkSPORT, that the Galatasaray representatives are now in England to discuss the transfer of the player.

While the details of the deals are not yet final, it is understood that the striker will join Galatasaray on loan for the remaining of the season and the deal will be finalized at the end of the season for £9m. Remy is keen to appear for Euro 2016 and wishes to play regularly at this stage in order to make it to the tournament. The 29 year old is also said to have attracted interest of several French clubs and Aston Villa and Newcastle from England.
