Jose mourinho seems to have a master-plan to land james Rodriguez into Chelsea. Rumor has it that the club is looking to do a one on one swap of the players with Real Madrid.
While Eden hazard leaving the blues has been on the news for a long time, the same now seems to be inevitable. On the other hand, James Rodriguez being unhappy under the manager Rafael Benitez has given Chelsea a successful plan.
The Columbian is valued £58million while Chelsea has valued hazard at £84.2m and in such a situation the swap seems like a good plan for both the clubs. According to Don Balon:
“Chelsea don’t just want cash for the player, they’re hoping to land Madrid play-maker Rodriguez as part of a swap transfer.”
According to Spanish media source, Fichajes, Chelsea “are willing to let Hazard leave if their £84.2m valuation is met”.
Its not confirmed whether Real Madrid will make a move for Hazard in january or in the end of the season. With Ronaldo leaving in the end of the season Madrid will have that much of fund to meet the Blue’s requirements.
Although with the Swap coming up as an option, the Spanish club does not seem all that keen on the deal with Chelsea.
