I’ll tell you why. It doesn’t take a genius to see that our team is missing a top class centre-forward, so with news coming in that French giants Paris Saint-Germain are after Oscar in some sort of swap deal it has got me excited.
I rate Oscar highly. In fact I think that he is one of the most effective players in our squad. His desire to get back and the way he expresses himself in attack has seen him become a real favourite down at the Bridge, and I for one would be sad to see him go.
However, we have a wealth of players that can play in his position and I would be tempted to use him as a bargaining chip to land PSG frontman Edinson Cavani.
The Uruguay international scored 104 in 138 for Napoli during his time in the Italian topflight and has scored 21 in 31 in his debut season for PSG.
Get him in, Jose.
