1) Diego Costa – Atletico Madrid
After dedicating his international future to Spain, the La Liga striker has continue his fine form in front of goal. The 25-year-old old has scored 15 goals in 15 games right this season and has sparked conversation about where he will be playing his game in the near future.
He has the power and the presence up top that Jose Mourinho seems to desire and he can also zip the ball around on the deck, which is always a bonus when you’re playing in front of the likes of Juan Mata and Eden Hazard.
2) Jackson Martinez – Porto
Another powerful forward now in the shape of Porto’s Jackson Martinez who scored 34 goals in 43 games last season for the Portuguese side. The Colombian has started this season impressively, also, with nine goals in 10 games and Mourinho has been linked with a swoop on his former club.
Martinez seems the perfect fit for me.
3) Robert Lewandowski – Borussia Dortmund
With the Poland international’s contract up in the summer it seems as though the whole of Europe is in the mix for the goal-gobbler. He scored 36 goals in 49 games last season and has 13 in 17 this.
