Saturday’s Predictions

Arsenal vs QPR (15:00 GMT)

Two of our London rivals face each other day, and Chelsea fans will be hoping that QPR can hold the hosts to at least a draw, as they did against us a few weeks back.

Arsenal may be 10 points behind us, but only the foolish would rule them out of a title challenge this early, especially with a tough month of fixtures to come for us before the New Year.

A loss to Norwich last week though, along with a host of injuries, means this fixture could be a tricky one for them, especially as QPR looked decent against Everton last weekend.

Walcott and the Ox look set to be out again, leaving Podolski and Cazorla as the main men for Arsenal. I can see them winning, but only be a small margin.

Arsenal to win by 1 goal @ 12/5
Draw HT/Arsenal FT @ 3/1
Arsenal to win to nil @ 7/5

Prediction: Arsenal 2 (Cazorla, Giroud) QPR 0

Dzeko: 5 goals in his last 6 appearances from the bench.Man City vs Swansea (17:30 GMT)

Last year’s Champions host the late kick-off, in a game which has come at the completely wrong time for Swansea, as City were thumped by Ajax in midweek, and the Swans may well face the full brunt of their frustration at the Etihad.

Garcia, Silva, Milner, Rodwell, and Zabaleta are out, but that means that City will no doubt field an extra striker, and go for goals in this encounter.

There is no value in a striker for first goalscorer, but Toure and Kolarov can find the net first at 17/2 and 10/1 respectively, whilst Sinclair is 7/4 to net against his former club.

Man City (-2) @ 13/8
Man City HT/Man City FT @ 5/6
Man City to win to nil @ 11/10

Prediction: Man City 3 (Toure, Tevez 2) Swansea 0

Saturdays Other Predictions:

1245GMT – Aston Villa vs Norwich (1-1) Draw @ 12/5 and Under 2.5 goals @ EVS

1500GMT – Reading vs Fulham (1-2) Fulham win by 1 goal @ 7/2  and Both Teams To Score @ 8/13

1500GMT – Stoke vs Sunderland (2-1) Over 2.5 goals @ 7/5 and Draw @ 23/10

1500GMT – Wigan vs West Ham (2-3) West Ham @ 9/4 and Over 2.5 goals @ 4/5
