From The Opposition Corner…

Chelsea take on Fulham on Easter Monday, a side who have won 5 out of their last 8 games, and currently sit 10th in the Premier League.

Martin Jol took over the London club at the start of the season, and they while they have always one that was known for keeping it tight at the back, this season, their free-flowing football, and goalscoring exploits, put them 6th in home goals scored, with 31 from the 16 games.

Their hard work and ability is illustrated no more than by their American midfielder, Clint Dempsey. Signed as an almost unknown entity in 2007 for around £2million, he has embraced the Premier League, and given us some fantastic goals and performances for the whites.

Last years player of the season has an amazing 21 goals in all competitions this season, including a brace in Saturdays convincing 3-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers.

His side sit just two points off 7th, and three above 14th place, so they will be fighting for each place in their remaining games.

We spoke to Fulham fan Joe Reece ahead of the game, to get his views on his team, and who we should watch on Monday.

1. Who has been your best player this season, and why?
Clint Dempsey, for his goals.

2. Which player has surprised you most so far, and why?
Kerim Frei, because of his confidence at a young age, and his ability to run at players, a lot like Boa Morte used to do.

3. If you could take one Chelsea player, who would it be?
Juan Mata, for his skill and dribbling ability.

4. Where will Fulham finish this season?
Either 9th or 10th.

5. What will the score be in Mondays game?
Fulham 2 (Dempsey x2) Chelsea 1 (Torres)
