Arsenal make an enquiry for Blue star

It is believed that Arsenal have made a £3 million enquiry for Ivorian winger Salomon Kalou.

This follows contract negotiations between the him and Chelsea breaking down.

The Daily Mail have reported that Arsenal have may an official move for Kalou, and want to pay £3 million for his services.

The reason for the low valuation is that the Ivory Coast international’s contract is running out and he lacking match fitness.

Kalou is clearly not wanted by Andre Villas-Boas and has hardly featured in the Premier League or Champions League.

Should he move on, it’s unlikely many fans will be disappointed seeing Kalou move on.
