The France Under-21 international is no undoubtedly very talented but he has only featured once for Bolton since his loan move in August, and in that game, he managed to score in the Carling Cup win over Aston Villa.
David Ngog who is on loan from Liverpool, has been given the chance to show what he can do but Kakuta has not been picked for any Premier League game so far this season by Owen Coyle.
The 20-year-old said: “I don’t really feel like I have had a chance to show people what I am capable of in the Premier League.
“I came here to play. No player likes to be sitting on the bench. I understand that you have to earn your place and I’m confident in my own ability and know that I will make the most of this opportunity.”
Once again, like his move to Fulham last season the young Frenchman has struggled for first team opportunity and at his age he needs to be playing.
