United vs. Chelsea: Talking points for Chelsea

As Chelsea look all set to face United tomorrow, I can see a few things that Chelsea need to worry about before they kick-off at Old Trafford:

1. Drogba – His absence up front and whilst defending set-pieces and corners will be heavily missed.

2. Torres’ worrying form – As a Liverpool player, he often caused Rio and Vidic problems at the back, but will he be able to step-up and do the job tomorrow? Yes, he made the assists for both the goals against Leverkusen, but once again we have to ask if he can still do against the top defenders – Sadly, if I am perfectly honest, I don’t think he will. Please prove me wrong Fernando!

3. Chelsea’s nervy defence – Bosingwa has every chance of getting dominated by the United’s wingers, whilst the Blues’ Centre-backs will also need to be at their best to handle Rooney’s form – something that they haven’t yet this season.

4. Lampard – He’s the essence of our midfield, any misplaced passes and we will get caught in the counter attack – Lamps has to be at his best tomorrow.
