Celtic are reeling after one of their top youngsters has opted to move south of the border to Chelsea.
Somali-born Islam Feruz is set to join Chelsea’s youth set-up, where he is expected to be paid £2,500 a week in wages as well being put in luxury shared accommodation.
Due to a legal loophole, Blues can sign Feruz for a maximum compensation fee £300,000 as he cannot formally sign professional terms until his 16th birthday which is in September.
The youngster moved to Glasgow in 2001 after escaping a war-torn Somalia with his family, and having been there for five-years he now represents Scotland.
