Cash Only …

Palermo have announced that anybody wanting to sign their Argentine star Javier Pastore will have to make a cash only offer.
Chelsea, Manchester City and fellow Serie A side Roma are all keen on Pastore, but if they want to get his signature, it will take a huge offer of around £40 million and they will NOT consider any player plus cash swaps.
Zamparini has said: “For Pastore’s transfer, we will not accept player-exchange deals, for me and for
Pastore’s agent, the only valid ones are cash offers.
Before adding: “On Tuesday we will look with Pastore’s agent at the concrete offers we have, I believe we are in the final stretch of his transfer.”
Since joining Palermo in 2009 from Huracan, Pastore has constantly impressed and showed excellent value for the then €19 million price paid – He finished the club’s leading scorer last season with 11 league goals.
It will be interesting to see how keen Andre Villa-Boas is on the Argentine, there is no doubt he is a talented young man but is he worth such a huge transfer fee and more importantly will Roman be willing to pay such a figure.
