Drogba – Time to Move on?

At 33-years-old and with lots of interest in Didier Drogba, is now the right time to sell the Ivory Coast striker.
Reports in the papers today are linking Drogba with a move to Milan, the big striker has made 201 league appearances and scored 95 goals for the Blues since joining from Marseille.
Over the years he has often been linked with reuniting with old boss Jose Mourinho at both Inter and Real Madrid, but this time it is Massimo Allegri who is chasing the star striker.
Despite scoring a hat-trick on the first game of the season, Drogba only went on to score 13 goals. He endured a 10-game scoring drought during January and February and failed to score in the last six games of the season.
There is no doubt the Ivorian still has goals in him, and will continue to cause problems for Premier League defenders but if an offer does come in for £10 million then it is a lot of money to turn down for someone of his age.
Another key factor in deciding whether to keep him is that he is likely to miss the latter part of January and early February as he will be in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea representing Ivory Coast in the African Cup of Nations.
