Keeper Courtois set to join Atletico
Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 8:31 AM ">Two Left Feet - Out Now! for the thinking football fan Following previous rumours, it is expected that Chelsea will send goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois on loan to Atletico Madrid once he has completed his transfer to the Blues.
Courtois has said that he could go to Atletico for up to three years, the Spanish side are keen to find a replacement for David de Gea and the talented Belgium youngster is seen as the answer.
A loan move will help continue his development so he can compete with Petr Cech. He has opted for a move to Spain rather than returning to Genk, as it will leave him having to fight for his place and allow him the opportunity to play against some of the World’s best teams.
